Rename multiple Views, Sheets, Levels, Grids, Reference Planes, Family Types, Families,
Family Parameter Values, Rooms, Areas and Materials in a Revit Project:
- Add prefix or suffix to names and numbers
- Replace names and numbers
- Modify or renumber multiple text or numeric parameter values
- Modify multiple yes/no type parameter values
- Modify multiple phases and workset type parameter values
- Duplicate multiple Views and Sheets
- Duplicate multiple Component, Wall, Floor, Roof or Ceiling Types.
- Generate volumes from Rooms or Areas.
Instructions to use the application "Rewrite" for Revit:
1. Make sure Revit is closed and install "Rewrite" on your computer.
2. Open a Revit Project
3. Under the Add-Ins tab, go to "Rewrite" and click on "View", "Family", "Room" or "Material".
4. Select the names or numbers on the left, edit changes on the right and click OK.
Steps to generate volumes from Rooms or Areas:
1. Select Rooms or Areas on the left window
2. Click on the "Generate Volume" checkbox
3. Click on "Get Family Template" and select a family template (for example Generic Model.rft)
4. Click OK and choose a folder to save the new families
